*To Boomer's Mom* Re: Immune Booster for my dog

Kidney disease? Diabetes? pancreatitis? auto immune deficiency? Many blind dogs suffer additional illnesses.
These illnesses are often associated with the requirement of special diets or altered diets.
Here's the spot to discuss the various feeding concepts including raw, natural and home cooked.

This was sent to me as a private message, but I'm sure it was intended for the board :D

Subject: Immune Booster for my dog
Does anyone know of a good immune booster I can give my dog. I brought him back to the vet today to take more blood work to find out why he is loosing wait and to check the thryoid level again. I feel I need to give him something to build up his immune system. I can deal with him just going blind, but his just lying around and being lifeless is really hard.
Not sure if maybe the blindness has made him just depressed. Any information would be helpful. Thanks

Some suggestions :D

There is a wonderful group list on YahooGroups called CanineCushings-AutoimmuneCare. The link to the home page for this group is:

I think they will be able to help answer some of your questions about the immune system.

Here are several other web sites that have info on the immune system:
